Maestro Renaming

Friday, July 20th, 2007

Very soon Deusty Designs will be changing the name of our Maestro software. Another company also uses the name Maestro for a product which is somewhat similar to ours. We have opted to change the name of Maestro in order to prevent any confusion between the two. Deusty will be taking this opportunity to further distinguish our software from others.

Website Additions

Friday, July 20th, 2007

If you haven’t noticed, we have added a couple new sections to our website. First, we have started a forum dedicated to Maestro. We added the forum as a place for people to get together and talk about music, meet new maestro users, and spread the word about Maestro.

The other new section of our website is something we are pretty excited about. We are starting an open source initiative here at Deusty. Development is a passion of ours, and we want to contribute to other developers who are striving to make great software. Also, all the source code we release will be under a relatively loose license because we believe if we are giving out the code, you should be able to do whatever you want with it.

Maestro 2.0

Friday, July 20th, 2007

It’s been quite a while since we last posted, but I promise we have been working hard. The last few months have been dedicated to readying Maestro 2.0. We are very excited to have it out for everyone to enjoy. Maestro has some very exciting new features.

-Add Internet users to your roster
Add any other Maestro user in the world, and always know when they are online.

-No more router configuration
Now Maestro users are more accessible then ever through integrated router traversal.

-Subscriptions to Internet users
You asked for it, you got it. Library subscriptions are now available over the internet.

-No more 30 day trial
Try it for as long as you want. When you’re convinced that you love it, a full license will be waiting for you.

We appreciate all the feedback we’ve gotten, and we hope you keep on telling us what you think about Maestro. The release of 2.0 has only further committed us to making the best product we can.
